Yes. SEAI provides a solar PV grant for homes built and occupied before a qualifying date, paid per kilowatt peak installed up to a cap, using an SEAI registered installer. No BER is required for this grant.
The grant is calculated on installed capacity in kilowatts peak, with the rate stepping down as the system grows and a maximum grant per home. The installer must be on the SEAI register and must complete the ESB Networks notification for the connection.
Separately, the Clean Export Guarantee means your electricity supplier pays for surplus electricity exported to the grid. That is a commercial arrangement with the supplier, not part of the grant.
